I’m Bringing Oatmeal Back

Y’all know I love oatmeal. I love it with blueberries, I love it with strawberries, heck I even love it with fruit salad.

Oddly enough, I haven’t had oatmeal in a while.

I’ve been eating a lot of eggs for breakfast, and although those always hit the spot, I figured I’d bring oatmeal back.

Yesterday I had banana oatmeal, inspired by Kath, topped with blueberries, almonds, and pecans.

It was really good, the perfect mix of sweet and crunchy, but all together my breakfast was 9 points!

I think that’s why I cut down on the oatmeal. Starting the day out with 9 points down is tough to recover from. By the end of the day I was so hungry with no points left to spare.

I ended the day at 30 points which is 2 more than my goal.

I think next time I have oatmeal, I’ll have to have it without the nuts on top.
