When I travel by myself, I stay on track. Most of the time.
When I travel with my boss, I don’t stand a chance.
Food is an addiction, just like booze, and cigarettes. And one chocolatey, salty, snack can open the floodgates.
I made some good choices, and some not so great choices.
Here’s what the week looked like:
Zucchini noodles with mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin. I ate a lot of those potatoes. A lot.
Vegetable tartar. Essentially raw veggies in a pile.
Veggie ramen bowl with a side of curried potatoes, carrots, and rice on the side.
Oatmeal with half a protein bar, hard boiled egg whites, and coffee.
Greek spread, shared by the table.
My Greek salad.
Chai latte made with almond milk. That foam was so thick and delicious.
Thai noodle soup.
Thai tea. I didn’t even drink half of this. It was too sweet, and tasted like ice cream. My body knows better.
I went way over my points every day this week, I didn’t sleep enough, and I only worked out once.
Needless to say, my body is extremely unhappy with me. And my guts feels like they’re tied in knots.
I’ve got to get back on track this week, and I’m starting today.
