I love a big fat salad. But I have salad requirements. Not just any fixins will do. I need:
- Something crunchy, like croutons
- Something a little less crunchy, like walnuts or almonds
- Something sweet or salty, like fruits or olives
- Onions, cause they’re healthy and I’ve picked them off my salad my whole life and I finally understand their value so I force myself to eat them
- And any other raw veggie I have on hand
This salad hit all the marks, and it looked damn good while doing it!
This salad has feta, strawberries, walnuts, red bell pepper, red onion, croutons, and fat free balsamic dressing, over mixed greens.
Perfection in a bowl.
