My first two experiences with Daily Harvest were not great.
Last night I was going to just have a protein drink with Vega protein powder, almond milk, and Greek yogurt, but I decided to check for a low-point DH smoothie to add to the mix.
I chose Açaí and Cherry, and it was pretty darn good.
The protein powder I’ve been using is Vega Salted Caramel. It’s not bad, but I’m kind of over the taste at this point. The next one I get with either be vanilla or chai.
I added some Fage plain Greek yogurt. I always keep this yogurt stocked in my fridge to make 2 ingredient dough.
The smoothie was 8 points, which is a lot for a smoothie, but I had the extra points and I’m glad I was able to get some extra fruits and veggies in me before I started my fast for the night.
I’m also glad that I found one DH smoothie that isn’t terrible! Here’s hoping the the rest are better than the first (and second).
